We commonly work with:
Birth–3 years: Early communication, play skills, language development, and parent coaching
Preschoolers: Speech sound development, language skills, and school readiness
School-age children: Articulation, language, literacy-related skills, fluency, and social communication
Adolescents: Communication skills for academic success, social interactions, self-advocacy, and ongoing speech or language needs
If you're unsure whether speech therapy is right for your child, we're happy to answer your questions and discuss your concerns.

Many insurance plans cover the cost of therapy. We currently accept Colorado Medicaid and private pay. We can provide a Superbill for families to submit to their insurance companies for reimbursement.
We are continuing to add some major insurance companies in the near future. Please reach out with specific questions.
-
If you plan to use insurance that we accept or would like to receive a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, a referral from your child's physician is required.
If you are choosing private-pay services, a referral is typically not needed, and you may contact us directly to schedule an evaluation or discuss your concerns.
If you're unsure whether a referral is required for your specific situation, we're happy to help guide you through the process.
Many physicians offices have our contact information, but if they do not, you can have them fax us a referral form at: (970) 658-5891

We are happy to have an evaluating clinician speak to you regarding your concerns about your child’s communication development. During this free phone consultation, the clinician will interview you regarding your child’s communication and make recommendations about next steps.
-
Research shows that most children do not outgrow communication challenges without support. Consider the long-term impact on your child if these challenges are not addressed. Your child may have increased difficulty with peer relationships, learning to read/spell, and being understood, which can lead to decreased self-esteem and increased behavioral and/or emotional impact.
-
Your child will be evaluated by a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. Treatment will be provided by a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist and/or a speech-language pathology assistant.
-
Our therapy sessions are all individual, allowing us to focus on your child’s specific needs.
-
The evaluating therapist will recommend the frequency of sessions after your child’s evaluation. Most children come for 30-minute sessions, 1-2 times per week.
-
We provide services in daycares and preschools, at home, via teletherapy, and in our clinic.
-
Teletherapy enables children to receive services via secure, live video chat from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Teletherapy is endorsed by the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association and is effective for many individuals.
